Dave's model of the Southern Railway Ps-4 will be a first in F scale. The Ps-4 has been modeled in numerous scales, including 7.5" gauge live steam and in two ultra-museum quality models in 1:32 scale. But never before in 1:20.3 Dave's model began as a conversion of a Little Engines 2.5" gauge, 1/2" scale live steamer, or at least a smattering of castings for one, and has now become a all-new finescale endeavor . Research
& Resources My model of the Ps-4 in 1/20th scale owes a great deal both to a museum quality model built in 1:32 scale by professional model-maker Kelley Morris and to a smattering of Little Engines 2.5" gauge castings which I aquired secondhand during seminary days. |
