CME Products--Track
|
I am pleased to announce
that as of May of 2012, Cumberland Model Engineering has
acquired the F scale track products formerly marketed by Iron
Creek Shops. These include both dual gauge and standard gauge
plastic tie strip, 3-point track gages, and brass roller gages.
In addition to tie strip, we are now offering 6' panels of
assembled track in either 1:20.3 standard gauge or dual gauge.
Turnout fixtures and components are also in the works.
Wheel &
Track Standards for standard gauge modeling in F
scale (that is, F Gauge), may be found
here.
Ordering may be done via personal check or money order. For more
information on ordering, please see the

F Standard & Dual Gauge Flex
Track
1:20.3 standard and dual gauge track is offered
assembled in 6' lengths consisting of 8 sections of tie strip
and either
two or three 6' lengths of rail as appropriate (your choice of
Llagas Creek
code 250 or 215 aluminum or nickel silver rail).
Code
250 rail is roughly equivalent to 85 lbs. rail and is suitable
for yards and other industrial trackage. Code 215 rail
represents 65 lbs rail and is suitable for modeling 3' narrow
gauge as well as 19th century standard gauge prototypes.
Track ships in boxes of up to 10 sections each.
Rail joiners not included. Quantity discounts are available. |
|
Flex
track comes in either standard gauge (left) or dual gauge
(right). Code 250 rail pictured. Flex track is not
offered ballasted or
weathered as above. Rusty rail at left is aluminum painted w/
Krylon rust primer. Nickel Silver does not require painting when
used out-of-doors and weathers to a prototypical grey-brown. Ballast is sand and gravel with
Portland cement mixed in. |
